Capistrano Beach is a wonderful beach that offers a friendly, small town atmosphere. In contrast to the wide and sandy beaches located in the north part of Newport and Huntington Beach, Capistrano Beach has narrower stretches at the base of its hills and cliffs.

Capistrano Beach has perfect sand for volleyball, basketball and many other beach activities. A refreshment stand is open during the summer months, which has fishing gear, food, beverages and beach supplies. There are surf boards, roller blades and bicycles available to rent. Capistrano Beach has public restrooms and outside showers, seven volleyball courts and a basketball court. There is a paved parking lot with 140 spaces.
