Each street is named after a specific type of flower running in alphabetical order from Acacia to Poppy and a flower garden is displayed on every street from which it is named. Another attraction featuring flowers is the Sherman Library and Gardens, a 2.2 acre horticultural retreat featuring a museum of living plants, gorgeous gardens, patios, greenhouses, flower beds and tile fountains. The library is a research center dedicated to the study of the Pacific Southwest.
