Trinidad Island is located in Huntington Beach. It is one of five man-made islands the city residents enjoy. To access Trinidad Island from Edinger Avenue, you must go beyond Bolsa Chica Street and Saybrook. Keep heading west toward the ocean and turn left at the fourth turn, Trinidad. As you enter Trinidad, you see beautiful townhomes located on lagoons to your left and right. Those homes are Seagate. Ownership can include a boat slip and amenities such as tennis courts.

Passing Seagate, you must cross a bridge to enter Trinidad Island. Just beyond the bridge on the right hand side is a park, small beach and public shower and restroom facilities. There is no lifeguard on duty but you will often see parents carefully watching their children play in the water next to the small beach. Kids bring their float devices, fishing poles and generally have fun in the summer sun. The beach and playground are favored by youngsters and pre-teens mostly.
